ok, I went ot test another s14 at a small dealer and this is the result. They said they bought it at an auction.

96 base92500 milesno radio, dunno about speakersneeds new brakes - press the brakes and i almost sh!tmyselfneeds new clutch - press the clutch and i feel some resistance about 1.5 inch from the floorneeds new batteryneeds an exhaust (no muffler after the CAT, just a straight 2.5" pipe w/ a chrome tipcar is deep purple with 2 white vinyl stripes running from hood to trunk (like the dodge stripes)inside is in fair conditionThrottle response is not on par with my civic (4dr civic w/ CAI)Suspension feels kinda hard.

they asking for 5800

all the other 240s I found are 2hours and more away and cost like 7000.

In that condition its a $1500 car.

god damn, u alll to hell for confirming my thoughts but hanks for your replies.I was gonna offer him 2500 for it, then use the money from my civic to fix it up. oh well, the search goes on.

hmm...i ran into a 97 with a bodykit but not sure if it has a sr20 but thing looked clean but then again i think they wanted $11k for it. If i found that car last year i would have jumped on the oppurtunity.
