ok heres the story. my car was broken into last week and the list of things that were stolen are: afc neo, hks evc IV boost controller, hks turbo timer, aem wideband, all of my greddy gauges, nismo titanium gt shift knob, pioneer navi flip up, jl audio w7 subs and amp, and they attempted to steal my kouki taillights. My problem is i have full coverage on my car and the insurance guy told me that because the list of things that were stolen costs so much that they might total my car out and ill be damned if they take my ca and other goodies with it. What i need is a ka idc if its blown or not, single cam or not. i just need something to place in there to make them think they are getting a complete car. someone local would be preferred seeing as how they are coming monday to look at the car to decide whether or not they are going to total it.

Thanks in advance,Zach

Thats suck about your break in mate, id be pissed!I dont know about over there, but in NZ here, if your car is any different to how it was when the insurance was taken out, then they can loophole and not pay out..so if its listed as a CA and its got a KA, they might be reluctant? I understand you want your motor though!

its listed as a ka on the insurance but thanks for the heads up. btw my motor and other mods will be for sale if they end up totaling the car. Motor has been rebuilt and has about 10000 miles on it. 264 hks cams, metal jacket harmonic balancer, gt2876r brand new, spec 2 clutch, custom aluminum intercooler piping, apexi intake, z32 maf, 444 injectors, circuit sports oil catch can, megan o2 housing, blitz downpipe, hks high power exhaust, and will also have brand new from the nissan dealership kouki tails for sale, as well as the entire type x front end and side skirts. thats about all i can think of right now but this is not a sale thread just a heads up for things to look for if my insurance company decides to total my car.

let them total it, then just buy it back.... typically you just have to match what a local junk yard is willing to pay for it.

I have a decent ka24e in Rock Hill SC. It has worthy parts on it, but it has rod knock. 40 bucks picked up and its yours.
