so long story short i got hit by someone in something in a parking lot. The damage is in a weird spot and if it was a car that hit me it had to have been pretty low.

I thought I would ask you guys about what I could do to fix it before I went to the bodyshop.

Here's some pictures for everyone to look at

that's some awkward looking damage - looks like it could have been something on the ground like low cement walls

Is there a dent or just paint damage? Not sure about what you can do with the plastic part

no dents at all, just some deep scratches. The paint i'm not so worried about, but the plastic is what sucks.

Ouch dude...that's painful! If the scratches aren't too deep in the plastic, perhaps you could sand them out and polish it up again?

i've also thought about sanding the plastic part out, but wouldn't that turn the plastic a different color?

unfortunalty....you scratched under the paint...so buffing wont do it....and touch will not help that..you have to body shop it...and....with slate as with all the metallics....ur looking at painting the bumper..they wont just sand the spot and paint that spot....and blending of adjacent parts ..trunk face, qauters..etc.....my best guess...at a good shop....600-1000...you can find a place to do it less...but ull see the difference in colors between the panels...sorry but ive been throught this enough times to know...my advice....if you can..live with it.get some good cleaner wax..maguires, mothers...and get out and much as you can...sorry i hate marks on my baby as well!
