9-1-1 operator, and dispatcher for various law enforcment, fire, rescue, and ems departments/agencies.

It sucks.

You guys (911 dispatchers in general) always sound really bored and annoyed when I talk with them. I'm glad I'm on this end of the dispatching, and not your end.

Eh, it's not that bad. But what is cool is that when I have to go to ER to draw blood I get to see some pretty cool stuff. Like one time this guy I went to draw was missing part of his finger. That was neat.
