supposedly LS1 coils are good for 1000hp each. Whether thats true or not, thats just what the LS1 guys on the LS1 forum say.

You guys do realize he's running Haltech right, so is TMS.

You need a standalone system that lets you pick LS1 coils.

Its not like you can just convert these to run on the CA ignition. Also last time I checked I believe LS1 coils fire Ground to Positive or Positive to Ground, I know its backwards to what most OEM setups fire.

For a more plug and play dealy find some FET's or some kind of aftermarket ignition for RB series engines on yahoo japan. I believe it's just a matter of soldering in the different plugs to your existing coilpack harness.

If you want to upgrade, then you can wire in Bosch coilpacks, Giallo has posted the bosh part numbers.

I use HEC 715's on mine with top gun leads, I also use an aftermarket ignitor (Microtech x4). However you can wire the bosch coils in to the factory harness, effectively making it semi plug n play.

The beauty of it is they are not sitting directly on top of the motor, so they don't get the heat issues that 17+ years of operation give you.

Now its dyno on 1.9bar on standard fuel.I had 445Whp.I had to switch the coils over 1.7bar to Bosch Motorsport with wastefire.

More to come.....

Actually it makes the wheels spin in third gear 130-170km/h just on boost.

This guy is twice wronged.

Soundly outpowered even with his 800cc displacement advantage and they called his R32 an R33.
