in 1992 Q45 with bose system. Will any quality 6x9 do, or are there unusual issues with this audio system? Any recommendations?

Also my passenger door speaker buzzes loudly when power is on regardless of volume setting - I think the remote amplifier has a problem. If anyone has an extra please email me with terms.

Thanks, Drake

There is a recall on the 1991 Bose and some 1992 owners by being extra nice have had it applied to the 1992 year. Call Bose and Infiniti Customer Service.

The speaker is probably good, but amp is bad.

Not cheap, but won't fail again.

CarStereoHelp indicates that the Bose 6x9's are 1-2 ohm impedance, not so common, and are available from the manufacturer. Mine still sound pretty good even though the fabric tube that suspends the outside of the cone is splitting in a few places.
