Do i need a special tool to remove and replace my old spark plugs? Are the back spark plugs easy to remove? And what kind of spark plug wires do i have ? Is it brand name Hanshin or Mitzubishi ? I appreciate all the info.

Spark plugs are easy to do yourself. You do not have plug wires. Each plug has it's own individaul coil. I would not replace the coils unless one or more are bad (they aren't cheap).

To change the plugs, remove the two small screws holding the coil down (I usually keep a magnet handy because the screws are really small), the pull the coil straight up, then remove the old plug, then reverse the process. You may have to move a bracket out of the way on the rear driver side to get the coil to come out.

On the Maxima (my 95 & 98 ) here are some things I like to do;
Yeah those screws are easily lost. You want to keep those from going in to the engine.
I never have gapped the OEM plugs. Always use anti sieze on the plug threads. To get them started
I like to use a 5/8" water hose with a plug stuffed in it to start the plug thread in first. Be sure to
use a torque wrench to tighten them up even though I have done it by hand. While the coil is
out I like to check and see if there is oil on them. If there is oil you may need to replace a plastic
part which is in the valve cover (inserts). I like to Armor Oil the outside of the coil to keep the plastic andrubber from cracking. Also armor oil the outside of connectors to keep plastic from cracking. Be sure to use silicon dielectric compound where the top of the plug and coil mount together. I also us it where the plastic connector supplying DC current connects to the coil. You wont get that care at the dealer level for sure!

Recommended plug is NGK PFR5G-11 and pre-gapped. It's rated up to 105,000 miles. Avoid using Bosch plugs in a VQ engine.
