This is the first time its been warm enough to get under my 240sx that I just bought. When I bought the car I looked it over very well and I didn't notice any signs of Damage from a wreck. The title is clean and everything.

So I get under the car and find this...!!! MESS

What is your opinions, the car drives 100% straight and drives perfect. I was just wondering if any one would be able to tell me if this effects the safety of the car or if it hinders its ability to perform. I have already bought camber plates, Shocks, Springs, Tc rods and ETC...... I haven't put them on yet though. I have looked over the rest of the car and I cant really find any other signs of damage other then these. Though I haven't took the fenders and stuff off yet.

I dont think it is a bad as you think it is, If it was done by a frame shop it should be allright.. I have to get a new radiator support welded into my '93 hatch... It rusted out pretty badly... Thats not to big of a deal, it can be done and the car will be good as before, but nissan didn't make such huge booger welds.

If you are really worried take it to a frame shop you trust and have them look at it.. If it is done well they will tell you , and if not they can fix it (probably wont cost to much, and its way better than the welds breaking on you at the track.)

Nah thats nothing man, those welds are really sloppy but its nothing, dont worry about it. If it was on your cross-member or something it would be different, but your cars fine. I was staring at the pictures trying to figure out WHY it was welded at those spots and couldnt figure out an answer. Maybe you should call the previous owner and find out.
