well since the only body pices youd be replacing are ood and trunk, id say no its not worth it for auto-x, and body kit, pointless if your trying to loose weight. Only do CF stuff, if you are goin full race, or dont wanna buy new body panels to replace old rusted/dented ones.

as for Auto-X events, check otu the SCCA link, they should have all the info you need, sometimes if you really want to race, youll haev to drive to get there a little bit, dont just settle for nothing cause its not withint 20min drive....if you really want to auto-x then go to it.....

unless your just trying to get that last little bit of to ensure you get first carbon fiber probably wont do you much good.

try googling the name of a popular area around you and autox...

For example after hearing that the local airport had them I found groups by googling "Camarillo airport autox". Also try variations and other names for it like auto cross, autocross, solo2, solo II, ect ..ect..

You get a lot of crap your not looking for, but if its a large area chances are pretty good that you come up with some forums talking about local events...do some digging and you should be able to find a contact number or two.

Getting some new tires would probably make you faster then carbon fiber parts. Sumitomo tires aren't really known for racing.

There is a track in Birmingham, Alabama called Barber Motorsports Park. Its an excellent track.

If you want autoX, just look up your local chapter of SCCA, PCA, BMWCCA, or NASA. I know there have got to be autoX'es in your area.
