"For the new ZO6, higher rpm allows the driver to remain in first gear to just over 60 mph, contributes to higher top speed and improves overall vehicle performance."

3.7 0-60... It's becasue it's like a crotch rocket. No shifting red light to red light. Dear God I want one... two! Make it two!

I just hope the pushrod engine can sustain the high RPMs. Hopefully they won't break under race conditions.

The headlights look feminine. They should stick with the pop ups.

Yeah, I agree. They just dont fit. But hey, with that kind of horse power, you wont be behind anyone for long, so they wont see much of your head lights anyway. Just the tail lights.

I think <60k...I remember looking on the Chevy website a few years ago and it said in the high 50's.It is a bit of a bump up in price but from that link Jesda gave it looks pretty good...I saw alot of titanium engine parts and sodium filled exhaust valves...3' wider stance, carbon fiber composite front fender/wheel liner, 14" 6 piston brakes....Its sound to be quite a piece of machinery

I completely disagree. I HATED the front of the C5, mostly because of the popups. The headlights look very pininfarina-esque. They only look feminine on bright colored 'vettes, because they have that stupid dark line around them. On darker cars, they look extremely good.

Meh, I guess I'm partly biased because I liked pop ups. Hence why I never got an s14..

hidden headlights belong on a vette! always have, always will. that things ridiculous. i''m glad american cars are getting guts again. look at the caddy sixteen, charger, c6, shelby stang, cobalt, malibu... eeh scratch those last few. the only good engine americans can make is a v8, but it's pretty hard to beat an american v8

Popups are old and busted, but these new C6 lights are not the new hotness. Same goes for the NSX.

this ricey crap belongs on a mazda or toyota, not a vette. i think it ruins the sleexness of the car.

I think what irks me is how the area under the lens is body-colored. It makes the headlights look like creepy insect eyes.

started at 42k I believe...topped out at 45 maybe...

it didn't have many options on it.

I like the new front end.

people seem to forget about the C1 and C2...

pop up's just make it sleek in the day...to hell with wind drag.

the C5 had killer aerodynamics unless you had to see. the new one however isn't as wide.

that bugs me, I love wide cars....low and wide is forever the new and old hotness.

To be honest with you guys, there aren't many vettes I like. I do like the 65-68's, but that was pretty much it. I honestly loathed the C5. There was something about it I just didn't like. But the C6's are growing on me. 3.7 seconds for under 70k is truly amazing. I really want to drive one to see if they still handle the like the C5's. If they changed it and it's great as every one says it is, I will have a newfound respect for Corevettes.

Sorry for any errors or non sensicals in that post, I'm getting oveer an all nighter and I'm a little wacky.
