1990 KA24E 240sx

Ok here are the 2 shafts i have and it just so happens that the one on the right is broken (the rubber pieces broke). I have been fighting with this other one on the left to get it in and it wont go in to the transmission!!!! I looked closer at the yokes and the one on the left is about a millimeter to a millimeter and a half thicker than the other one. I looked at previous threads and people say it will go in, but I need a definite answer.

My question is will it fit into my car, or am I fighting a lost cause here? It was pulled from a 1991 KA24DE.

BTW, this isnt my picture I pulled it from a previous thread, but they are the same shafts.

The one on the right is for a manual transmission and the left one is for an automatic. You need to have the same one going back in as was pulled out. You might be able to get a new retainer nut and swap out the carrier bearings off thse two, but a new bearing alone from autozone or advance auto is almost two thirds of the price as a one peice steel driveshaft. If mine goes out I'd buy a one peice.
