Can anyone please tell me the pin out for a '95 J30 ECU... im mainly interested in the location of the knock sensor signal wire.

heybilly, why do you need the pin # for the knock sensor to bypass it? assuming you want to add a resistor to it...

regardless if your knock sensor is no longer working try this. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/v...86419it'll be a cheaper and somewhat better and safer solution.

I know there's a way to fool the ECU with a ground wire from the harness under the hood... Dennis may be able to shed some light on this.

I think im just going to do that cheap fix that mayhem posted... its alot better then the resistor... thanx for the help

Im just going to use that guide for relocating the knock sensor... thats seems the safest way for the money.

All i got to say is WOW! Ever since i bought my J i had that faulty knock sensor which alwayz threw my engine into safety boost after a few mins of driving.... i got pretty use to it but after a while i really wanted to know wut my car can do.. so found a knock sensor on ebay for $50 and a harness from scottsdale infiniti for $22... threw that thing in and my god its a friggin reborn race car! If ur knock sensor aint working relocate it now!

not really "safety boost" in this case per se, (no turbos) just reading off of the low octane fuel and timing maps.

great to hear its working so well now!
