I am working on my program for the Q45 and one part of it requires a math formula that has stumped me. I have figured out the values but I can't seem to put it into a formula. If anyone out there is very good at math please Personal Message (PM) me.

Some examples are:

1 =2.17
2 =2.16
3 =2.15
4 =2.14
5 =2.13
6 =2.12
7 =2.11
8 =2.10

Please help, I will repay you by giving you credit in my program if desired.

Pretty vague example Paul - your demo table there could easily be fixed with a depreciation of .01 per step!

Surely it's more complicated that that or you would have it solved...you'll have to be more specific with your needs. That particular table is akin to the homework my daughter gets from school!

Your right but I am having issues implementing a formula in Visual Basic Express 2010. Its a voltage to temperature conversion formula I want. Send me a email and I will send you the complete chart I made.

I think I know what you're talking about...

I'll run through the numbers again and see if I can figure out a mathematical relationship. I've done this kind of stuff before for school so I'll dust off my memory and give it a try. :)

Thank you because I have been at this for some days spending 1 hour a day. :)

Pictures look great by the way.

Depending on which way you're translating:

y = 2.18-0.01*x

or

x = 218-100*y

where x is the lefthand series and y is the righthand series
