im to the point of pulling out my own hair.. heres my situation, and YES I SEARCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED!!
i swapped in a 91 ka motor and trans to my 91 s13 hatch. i had all the wiring, and i mean ALL the wiring, checked out by myself. no cuts or anything.
i connected all the connectors to their appropriate places, grounds to the grounds, etc. im getting no spark. i was getting code 21, and i did the diagnostic from the fsm, and got to the point where i had to check the resistor/ condensor, and i am getting nooo power or ground from it, and this is before the resistor is hooked up. i checked alllll fuses and replaced relays with my other perfectly working s13, and still nothing. idk what to do or anything.
the car cranks and im getting fuel, but no spark whatsoever. today, when i went to go check it out, i did nothing to it, meaning changing connections or anything. i simply stopped last night and left off with everything still "not working" and ONLY code 21. today i connected everything back up, maf dizzy ignitor blahblah, and when i went to go crank the car, i saw smoke coming from the ground wire that connects to the dizzy. it only did it when i was cranking the car. i tried it again, and thats when i noticed it was only during crank. i checked the ecu for codes and then i got code 11, 12, 13, 21, 34. WTF!!!???!!! im guessing because of the ground.. i have nooo clue what to do. i need this car asap.
if anybody can help or come check in person, i am in North Jersey, i would GREATLY apreciate it!
idk if this makes any difference, but my instrument cluster does not show the clock, not sure if radio works bc theres none in there at the time, and when i put it on the ON position, only the gas light comes on, and nothing else. everything is connected accordingly, unless im missing something secretly.
PLEASE help me out!!
the only codes i got now are 11, 12, 13, 21, 34... which is probably having to do something with that ground.
i popped open the ecu and saw nothing obviously burnt nor weird.
