i need some opinions

ok i now have around 7500 for a car....and i actually like the styling of the 91-94 240sx its just i dont want to buy it and then get the engine swap then a body kit and then nuthing works...or it doesnt start....im not sure if i want to buy such an old car.... wut problems should i look out for in buying a 91-94 240sx and how much would some major repairs cost....if i buy this car for cheep.....then i deff want to get the engine swap...but i want it to run....so how much do u think were tlking in repairs...or in replacing old things for new things?

um, timing chain is sometimes a problem. if at idle you hear a LOUD ticking, then your looking at timing chain replacement.

the best thing would be to take the car to a mechanic before you buy it and have them tell you what it will need.

try to find one that had less than 3 owners....preferably old people...i made the mistake of buying one that was street raced and not taken care of...thank god i'm a mechanic or i'd be SOL

youll be replacing most of the worn out stuff anyways (engine/suspension) other than that theres not much stuff to break. just find a shell in good shape and your golden.
