i need some LOW

So I came out to my car in a parking lot, and my buddy had parked next to me. He has a Mitsubishi Evo X with a bunch of stuff done to it. The major thing I noticed was that he was sitting on coilovers and had absolutely no wheel gap. Then I turned and looked at my car, and it looked like a jacked up 4x4 sitting next to his car! So to get to the point, I think my next order is definite suspension. My car has almost 150k on it, so I'm not absolutely sure if the struts are factory or if they have been replaced at any point. I want to keep the as close to stock ride quality as possible, but I've had a few slammed cars before so I can deal with a more stiff ride. I'd love to get away with doing just springs, these struts seem to be perfectlyf fine, and if need be I can get new struts after the fact.

So, any recommendations for what I'm looking for? And what other parts would be required to properly align the car afterwards? I'll be doing all the work except the alignment so instal cost is not a factor. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
