I need some inspiration or aspiration

Alright folks i am kind of new to the tuning scene.. I own a s13 240sx.. some how the motor has developed a awful knock i am guessing it is coming from cylinder 4 i am unsure if it is a cylinder or a rod or if it something as simple as a lifter! But instead of trying to just fix the problem i am going to do what any speed freak would do I am going to upgrade! and maximize performance!

I have Heard rumor of a High compression Motor that is made of some combination of ka24e and ka24det.. seeing as how i have a ka24e why not opt for this?

I also would like to add a little (t) to the engine code well actually it would be nice to add a big T to code

Does anybody have any suggestions or knowledge that would help me decide what to do. Or does anybody have useful information on the (high compression) build?

any and all information would be great keep in mind that i am very new to this scene basically if you can break it down real simple for me!

Well now you must make up your mind, because you dont want high compression and a turbo...

well..... i think i would rather opt for the turbo.. and after a little research playing with the timing chain doesnt sound very fun... but can i run boost to the ka24e? well i know i can but is it going to be able to handle it for a long period of time

Well, I'm assuming your going to rebuild it before you boost it, so as long as you build it right it will handle boost fine. Check out the KA-T forum for more specific answers.
