i need some info....FUEL PROBLEM?

i checked the fuel pump and it wasnt pumping? i got some new fuses and relays for it.. but it still wouldnt work? anyone have a clue of what could be wrong? i dont wanna buy a new fuel pump unless that is the problem.. could it be the dist? even though its sparking the plugs?

How did you check the fuel pump to know it isn't working?

Here's what you can do. When you turn the key, your fuel pump should come on. If you put your ear near the gas tank, you should be able to hear it running. If it isn't, pull the carpet in the back to get to the fuel pump. I believe there is a plug back there for the wiring. Test for 12 volts. If it's getting 12 volts, and your pump isn't coming on, then your pump is bad. If it isn't getting 12 volts, your problem lies in the wiring somewhere.

Its not hard to replace one, if you are wondering. Takes maybe about an hour. I hope your tank isnt full.

i turned the key to on but no fuel isnt comin.. i even unpluged the fuel filter line to make sure and the took the pump out...

did you check the wire to see if there is enough voltage to the pump?
