Well here's the thing. I just bought my versa back in July and I want to do a couple of upgrades to it and don't really know anything about it. I dont think I want to do performance upgrades, just interior and exterior. If anyone has some suggestions or would like to help me out that would be great because I am pretty new to this stuff. Thanks-Tom

For the love of god, no bodykits. There are carbon fiber hoods and hatches on the market. Also, some guy changed his interior to all blue LED's.

I'd start out with some tanabe nf 210 lowering springs. They add a tasteful drop (about 1.5 inches front and back). http://www.shop.versaspeed.com...Id=11. Then I'd go for some wheels.

Versaspeed has some cool stuff for pretty good prices.

I dont think I was going to do any body kit. The most drastic thing I was thinking of adding to the exterior was the spoiler on the hatchback, but even then I have seen some that look really dumb.

Yeah I was looking at the lowering the car, but my driveway has a incline at the beginning of it and I dont know it lowering the car would scratch it or hurt the front bumper?

I would suggest tint, the lowering springs as someone already suggested, and some 17" wheels. If your getting a hatch spoiler, the OEM Sport package sport spoiler looks pretty cool. But thats just my opinion, and ultimatly, its your car, so you do what you think looks good and makes you happy. No matter what you do someone is gonna hate... its just part of modding your car, some people just have no lives and feel the need to trash things that others do that really don't affect them at all.

As for scraping going into your driveway, my old civic was lowered, and my driveway has a rather pronounced incline, and I never had a problem if I went slow. My friend has a highly modded mk2 Jetta and his front lip is within 2" of the ground and even he can make it in, just go slow and at an angle and your golden

I'd go with a better sound system. Possibly change out the door speakers with some Alpines, Kenwood or Rockford Fosgates. Also, get a 10" or 12" sub with at least a mono channel 1000w amp.

Tint the windows, you want to keep the V cool inside and prevent UV fading on the seats.

Do what you like with your V, it's your car and your money.

That's a pretty dumb statement. Sure, it's a Versa, but so what? This is an enthusiasts site and simply dismissing vehicle personalization as being dumb based on the vehicle is not what most of us are about.

yeah actually i went to school with these two brothers whose dad owns this custom car/boat audio place....and i have had some work done there before. when i first went in with my versa they quoted me for ipod hook up, navagation, sirius satalite and touch screen head unit for like 964 otd, which was a little pricy at the time considering i had just bought the car a few days prior but maybe its dropped down in price

lowering springs, tints and rims is always pretty good. also some people painted there side skirts. if you find a grill you like, go for it. as for the interior ummm.... not much besides audio (if your into that kind of thing) or change out your seats if you really want to, i say just make sure the interior is clean and people will probably notice that more

haha love the quote man! hey here is a question that I want to ask before I go out and do anything of the sort...if i do make changes to my car, such as audio or rims or lowering spring or anything of that sort, will it affect my warranty at all?

Anything can void the warranty if they can prove that whatever went wrong was because of the aftermarket part. Its a yes and no thing.
