Double check and see if you connected all sensors back. Also do you know if your getting spark or are you assuming your getting spark? Also make double check your dist/rotor is pointing to the NO.1 spark wire on your dist cap at TDC.

we checked all the sensors and everything is pluged in.. we're not getting a spark at all.. the coils resistance was right and everything but something is telling it not to spark. we checked the timing markes and made sure it was TDC. Did this by using good ol chilton. also we checked the EGI pump relay and fuses and they are good...

Ok so we pretty much got brainel fisted..We thought that the fule pump was bad to check we put direct opwer, from the battery, to it.and it works.. so we figured that it just wasn't getting any power.so we used a multi metor and checked the grownds and all the other wires and they are fine... Why isn't this thing getting power?!?

Is therealot of rust ontop of your sending unit?Check your wires on the send unit. You might have a lot of rust on there check to see if any wires are loose. Also you guys didnt drop the Distrbutor did ya?

we had to take the disdributer appart to make sure it was clean and at the right spot... as for the sending unit.. where might that be?

if you look right next to your spare tire holder on the right side you will see a cover with i belive 4 bolts holding it and rubbergromet in the middle. Remove the 4 bolts and and lift the cover up. There you will see your wires.

well the coil isn't getting any power, if the wires were bad they would have at least a small amount current, unless they are cut... which they're not. Im thinking maybe distributor, cause something is telling the ECU not to give the coil power.. am i right in thinking that?

Did this all start right after you put the cams in or was it like that? Also open up your ecu maybe one of the circuits might of burnt out. Actaully if i remeber right it was kind of a common problem with the s13 ecu's.

Check the blue relay behind your fuse panel (kick panel driver side), and also check the fuel pump relay (passenger fender well near battery.)

you'd think the fuel pump relay would be the first thing i checked.... well it was. and if you would have read the whole thread you would have found out that its fine.

I'll check that other thing you were talking about tho.

How are ya checking your check engine light? The way to pull off codes is be removing the kickpanle and look at the leds from your ecu flash. Also how postive ar ya its not getting power to the ecu. Just cause the CEL is not on does not mean its not getting power. Also check your IGN switch.

sorry i forget to mention that we pulled the ECU and turned the pin CW the whole way waited 2sec. then turned it ccw all the way back. and none of the indicator lights flashed.

So ya.. what would be a way to check to see if its not getting power.
