I wish I knew of a good place to find one, but I don't know of anywhere that has manuals for Maximas older than 1989--which isn't the same model as yours.

I suggest checking ebay, amazon.com, etc. Someone may have one for sale.

You can get the 85-92 Chiltons or the 85-89 Haynes Manual for your car. You can find them on eBay or your local parts store.

But I highly recommend finding a Factory Service Manual for your 2nd gen (85-88). I found my used 92 FSM on eBay for $20. I've seen 1st and 2nd gen Maxima FSMs on eBay for cheap in the past. If you're patient, you'll find one. Also, find one of the guys on eBay that deal with automotive books. Send them an email with your request and I bet they can get you one.

It's Factory Service Manual or nothing! If you plan on working on your own car, then don't waste your money on the Chiltons or Haynes.

I tried searching eBay for "maxima manual" and I found an 87 FSM that you need to jump on!
