My starter went out on mine, its pretty comon.
I tested it with a voltmeter, get under the car and hook up to where the wires go to the starter and have someone turn the key, if the voltage jumps to ~12+ and no clicking/starting, then the starter is done, else it could be the wiring to the starter.
Any wiring from the ignition to the starter would be suspect to me if it isn't reading at least 12v at the starter.
Starter is about $120 in parts and would cost you $500 for a shop to do it. Try it yourself and learn something new.
