ok... I just installed it, and I'm stumped...all I did is reset it because it had its memory still on its previous car.

1) I'm not picking up an airflow % on my monitor. When I checked my sensor check... it read @ idle:In-1: 0.775 vIn-2: 0.025 v

I double checked my wires, and yeah, I wired it correctly to its specific wires.

2) How do I know what sensor type I'm supposed to log in and what not...

engine: redtop sr20det, stock mafs w/ hks mushroom filter, stock injectors, z32 fuel filter, walbro 255 fuel pump

Sensor type: HW, 2in 6out Car select: 4 /zero's across the board will be the stock settings for Hi and Lothrottle Point: Just leave it till you get it on the dyno ( get a base run of how you turbo spools and when, how you hit full boost)NE points: also help from that base run with AF readingsDeCel Air: Atmospheric BOV? if not leave ****

If your not going to the dyno, then you should have a wideband or you can destroy your ****.

Its 6 in 6 out. What he said is for a Z32 MAFS on an S13 SR. The in 2 is supposed to be 0 or very low because that is the voltage of a 2nd MAFS (like if you had a Skyline). Unless you are running twin Skyline MAFS then you should only get one voltage. You used the white and yellow wires for the MAFS wiring right?

Get the manual and set up the thing properly.

Clearly you did not read the manual if you are asking these questions...

What kind of readings are you expecting.

yeah, your right, I haven't fully read the instruction manual, just the wiring manual...

reason being, is cuz on the monitor screen... the af % is constantly at zero. Aren't I supposed to get some kinda read out at all for af%?

I have had readouts as low as 1.2% and as high as 1.7% depending on the MAFS and settings I was using. When you first install the SAFC before you even turn on the car, you need to redo all the settings. That way the computer can zero everything out.

SAFC's arent perfect and sometimes when they are used they wont always work properly. Sometimes it takes a while for the settings to get erased properly. Sometimes it will not remember the settings for very long, and sometimes I have seen some that are password locked by the previous user and can never be used again because they wont unlock.

Read the owners manual. It tells you how to set up your SAFC for a BOV.

That pic is pretty much the only pic I have of the car.

Also SAFC 1, 2, and NEO's use basically the same wiring colors so any of them can be used to install one. And they all basically are set up the same way with the same HW numbers.
