Ladies and germs,

This is a non-CA topic, but I'm in a bit of a jam and I need some help with this one. As some of you know I own a 4G63T power 1995 Hyundai elantra and it happens to be one of my daily-use cars. But it had to be put to rest temporarily because the sunroof got stuck in the partially-open position and would not close. I removed the whole assembly in an attempt to locate the issue and try and repair it as well. I was to repair the problem, but created another problem that I really don't have the time to play with. And finding one of those cars around here is now a rarety.

So if someone know of a car or of a junkyard that has one of these cars with the sunroof assembly intact, could you please price it for me. At worst, I'll pull the engine and transmission and sell them; then scrap the car. A car with a bad engine or transmission is fine as I don't have a problem with buying another as long as the price is not bad and it don't have a sunroof. If you guys come across or find something, let me know by replying on this thread. Thanks in advance...........

Dee

P.S. Car can be 1994-1995 Hyundai Elantra not 1992-1993.

there a reason you dont just sheet metal over it and paint it?

its alot more work than that I know, but atleast you would be set...... not good for the roof to be stuck open now that rain is finally showing up around here.

I plan to go to you pull and pay on sat, I will check it for you.

PS this is the wrong section sorry it was just too good to pass up.
