welcome! do a quick search up at the top, been discussed quite a few times, or visit my tutorial on fog lights on the main page to see how to get a power wire through. As for ground, you can grab it at the seat belt holder screw. if you need an antenna adapter, I have one in good used condition, if you want it, I can do you for $5+shipping+3%paypal.

A seat belt bolt is the aboslute worst place to get a ground seat belt bolts are zinc coated to prevent rust zinc also does not cunduct electricity. If you ground the amp there you might notice light dimming, turn on pop or tump, alternator whine, and your amp may heat up.

You need to ground the amp right to the chassis scrape off some paint and put a 3/8'ths self tapper through your ring connector and right through the sheet metal in the car.

While the belt bolt may be zinc coated (it depends on the car, not all are), the mounting point and the bolt hole are NOT. scraping off the paint here and using the seat belt bolt works just fine, as long as the ground wire is touching the bare metal on the mount.

This saves the hassle of trying to drive a new screw through the steel of the body.

I can agree with that just make sure the paint is scraped off and you use a proper ring connector. Dont just shove the wire under the bolt and tighten it down thats the worst thing ever.

A good sub installation kit comes with ring connectors already attached.

For that matter, said good sub installation kit makes installing an amp and subs SUPER easy.

actually EV they dont come pre-installed due to the fact that some people need longer cable runs, and others shorter ones.

NOreasonY, check your e-mail, I sent a money request.

That's interesting... when I installed the subs in my Kia a couple years ago, I bought a kit. The power wire was not pre-built, but the ground wire was. It was a relatively short (12") wire, which was perfect... more than enough to run from where I installed the amp under the passenger seat to the mounting point for the seat bolt, where I grounded it.

did you recieve it? the blue wire needs to be connected to the power antenna. This is why I sent you the crimp connectors.
