Hi Guys.I am new to the 240sx forums and I just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought mine a couple of weeks ago and its been running fine. But the other day I had my mechanic look at it and Once I turned it on I noticed some smoke coming out of the the positive cable on the battery. So I turned off the car and started to look where the smoke was coming. I opened up my relay box and it really wasn’t in the best condition (ill post a picture), but I was hoping to get some advice on where I could find the red adapter for it… or even if I could install an aftermarket one? I just bought a fuse box off of a 95 to be on the safe side and it looks exactly the same as mine but it was out of an automatic. So Im wondering if anyone knew if it could be compatible with my 95 manual?

???

This is the bottom of the fuse box

My old fuse box doesnt have these connectors, would that be an issue?

the fuse boxes would be similar, the wiring harnesses that thay go with are different. if your good with a soldering gun than you should be able to remove the relay sockets from the new relay box and solder them into your old one. i would definately replace those relays thay are wasted. and you can use any battery terminal so long as all three of those wires have a good connection as thay are all quite important. i used some from the audio shop when i set up my bagged mini. thay look nice and function well. but you do get what you pay for.
