I have a 97 s14 thinking about lowering it but i don't want to lose the ride comfort but i still want to take it on the drift track.....

I was thinking of tanabe gf210 or eibach prokit for springs and tokico dspec adjustable for struts... Does anybody have this setup? Which is better for springs? Ride comfort and once inawhile drifting...

so you want soft spring rates but you still want to handle well while drifting?

I dont think that's possible man... chose either or.

Drift cars usually set their suspension so that it's as stiff as possible... otherwise you'd have crazy body roll with less control

So what kind of setup should I run coilovers or springs .... I heard ground control springs was ok too? What do you think if I was to get either jic, megan or stance coilover set-up?

too soft.

depends on your budget. JIC and Stance are both reputable companies with plenty of quality products. PSM and SPL and Zeal are also wonderful companies.

If you're serious about drifting... coilovers are the way to go. Don't waste your money on a spring / shock set up.

JIC, Megans, and Stances are all pretty decent choices. Of the 3, JIC wins imho. Second would be Stance, third Megans. Make sure when searching for pricing, that you keep in mind what kind of spring rates you're looking to get. Megans do have an intended "track" coilovers, but they probably wouldn't be ideal for a daily driven car, unless you don't mind a hard ride. Stances (GR+pro I believe) comes with 2 sets of different spring rated springs. A close buddy of mine has the JIC FLT-A2 coilovers. THey're awesome coilovers, but will cost you more than the other two considered coilovers.

How do they rate those springs on those coilovers jic, stance and megan? Is the higher the number means the stiffer the spring is? do you know prices or website where i can find good deal on these products?
