Hey guys can you please post up websites where i could get shocks for my 1997 infiniti j30. most of them are asking $200 for each shock but is there any cheaper? lmk thanks

You can also do the diy setup that swimshark has done. Check in on his thread. That's what l am currently doing. S13 coilovers,s14 abs spindles, s14 tierods, S14 endlinks, and evo 8 camber plates. S14 lca aswell.

240ZX rears bolt right in.

The coilover route is definitely an awesome one, but for a decent set of coilovers, camber plates, and a set of 5 lug 240sx knuckles with abs, you will be into it for upwards of $1000. If you saw my post awhile back you would have seen that I did my entire car for less than what you will pay for one oem strut. If you are willing to pay the shipping, I am more than happy to make you all the spacers necessary to fit the 300zx strut inserts since I have all the necessary parts sitting on the side of my house right now.

yoda i need a new suspension any ideas? i read the post where u used the 300zx struts bt since they are shorter i wonder if it would be a problem for my j if i have 20" rims

I have only replaced the rears w/240 struts.
I'll dig up the old thread that shows how to fab the front end struts.

anybady know where i can find the rear right control arm w/ joint??? ive looked everywhere and cant find it... infiniti part # is 55501-1P425. just so u know which one im talking about....

I need a set to do my car. PM me please. Or if you could give me the specs on how to do it , a local mod shop that specializes in Nissan & Infiniti will do it. I would love to be able to run 300ZX struts in the front.

Never mind I see all the threads on the struts now.

By the way the 1984 Nissan Maxima also uses the same rear strut as the 1981 280ZX.
