i was thinking of getting ngk iridium or bkre7(i probably got that wrong). what should i use for my kae-t at 7psi for now? i need model numbers 'cuz sparkplugusa.com just gives u the vpower for the 240sx. and what should i gap them to? later when i go to higher boost how much do i change the gapping? thanks. and i did search, but no specifics.

BKR7E FTW...Iridiums are awsome. Expensive, but worth it. Start the Gap at .040 then lower it a little at a time until you get no stutter on boost. The bigger the gap the more enegy it takes to complete the circuit, but you also get a bigger spark. The key is to run the biggest gap you can without getting the stutter. I ran .038 at 12 lbs of boost with no issues. Alot of people close the gap right away thinking somthing bad will happen if they don't. Nothing happens, its just stutters a little...all part of the tuning process.

Yep, thats the part number for the 240...

Here's what SP.COM says about that number for a cross reference.

you could also have an advance auto, or als automotive, and maybe o'reilly's(not sure if they carry ngk) cross reference that # (dont have advance look up the car, your pistons willl suffer) but have them x-reference the #s so you can pick up Iridiums or NGK-r's locally, and they are cheaper than the denso's iirc

I was told not to gap the NGK Iridiums, is that right?

Hmm, well how do they know what boost you are running? How do they know what Gap will work best? I GAP mine so...if I'm not supposed to, fvckem!!!
