i need new seat brackets

well, i guess im a freak or something, because my legs are too long for the stock seat and pedal arrangement. i know this is true because i sat in my dads genesis coupe 3.8 track (wayyyyy better than a 240, sorry guys <) and it was much more comfortable. i dont want to get new seats, just either new brackets or homemade ones (which im guessing i might be doing) thatll fit my oem seats. any help will be appreciated. and yes i searched.

Make your own brackets, or, modify them so that you can move the seat back some... BTW, how tall are you, I am 6'3" 235 lbs, and I fit in my s13 just fine.

go buy one dude......just like this guy i know in town who drive a 240 also..he ask me about everything... he ask do i have any brake hose(that is what he called it) laying around, i ask do he want to buy it. he say no he was just asking.then last week he called me and ask if i want to sell him my back seat, i ask him how much is he going to offer me.then he told me he don't have money yet.WTF...

What is wrong with you...He is asking if there are seat rails that would allow more room for a taller person, you can't just "go buy one dude." You just rambled off some jibberish about some guy not buying your parts, who cares, and what does that have to do with anything??

This thread is going nowhere.OP just make your own seat bracket, it'll be much easier and you can have it sitting just where you want.

I feel your pain, I had to make custom seat brackets as well for two reasons. The seat I inherited had no brackets for my car and my legs were a tag long. I solved the problem with 4 feet of 1inch by 1/4inch angle iron. Works like a charm.
