Just to make sure, youre talking about the valve the computer uses to pulse width modulate idle correct? If so then there is another valve on there called FCID iirc, which if the A/C is commanded on the computer will tell the valve to open a passage way and allow more air to enter therefore increasing idle under A/C load.
Then there is the air regulator valve or warm up valve but this one is only used when the engine is just started and is warming up. This one also raises the idle speed.
