When driving, the stick shift shakes constantly if not violently at times and if I go 50MPH or more the steering wheel shakes.I checked under car at the U joints and their fine.

shift knob shaking usually = bad transmission mount and/or engine mounts. You can look @ your engine mounts - or easily see by popping the hood, start the car, then rev via the throttle cable & see the engine move a lot (it shouldn't move at all).

steering wheel shake usually = bad wheel alignment and/or bad tire balancing/bad tires.

If you searched at all on the forum, you'd find this info as it's been discussed quite a few times...

Tighten the engine mounts? Have you checked the condition of them? Unless you have some aftermarket engine mounts, you can't really "tighten them down" to make them work better... i.e. did you do the simple test I listed in my post?

Checked your tire balancing? A quick test (if you don't want to pay to have your tires rebalanced) would be to swap the rear rims w/ the front rims. If the shakiness changes, then you know it's the rims.

There are a handful of other things to check, but you should be able to search for those.

Agree, id just run a Nismo mount set and be done with it. Also the S13/S14 naturally has more shifter movement then alot of other cars with the fact being that the shifter is directly in the trans and not some sort of linkage system found like on the 300ZX and FWD cars.
