I need help with timing.

Currently I have z31 t3, 460cc injectors,safc2, and plx wbo2 for tuning purposes. Im a little worried about timing, currently im running 6psi and just have the timing retarded a few degrees, but im pulling off like -27 of the injectors, throwing me into diff timing maps. The whole point of this is I want to be safer under boost, would a z32 mafs and msd btm allow me to safely raise the boost without detonation, would it be safer to have stock timing and then just pull some out under boost with the msd btm? With the z32 I should have to pull less off the injectors putting me in a timing map closes to stock. Im not really sure on all of this so any info is appreciated.

Best advice would be to check your timing under load to see what numbers its giving and go from there.
