I need help with my car's MPG. yeah I got turbo yesterday.

Finally, thanks to Steve and Nemo at corner3garage, those guy really help me a lot (actually i didn't do anything, steve and nemo did it all the work).

Turbo is in now. It seem like stock clutch (new, has less than 4000 on it) can't handle the power after 2000 rpm. (I'm in trouble! )And I don't have exhaust yet. yes, no exhaust. It sounds dang loud.

I got the new problem after that, it seems like the car only runs less than 10 mpg. used to be 23 mpg (freeway & locar combine).

What a shock, the gas price is hitting 3.50 next month, now my car only run 10 miles per gallon!

I need some help. what could it be?

what did you use for fuel management? a fmu?? if so, what ratio?

yea unless you are are leaking...I think youmight be running mad rich...get that checked. The turbo, not in boost, should only affect your gas mileage by like 5% and even less than that if it is a larger sized turbo.

stock fmu

i have safc ii, but i didn't install it yet because i don't know how to tune properly.

it's stock. since i'm boosting just 6.7 psi, i'm just using stock injector and Maf.

(maybe i used shell gas? i heard shell gas is not dense or something )

i think he has not upgraded his fuel setup from stock...............correct me if im wrong

my mistakei meant fuel pressure regulator and etc everything is stock except fuel pump.

ok i'm gonna do dyno next week, find out if i'm running too rich or not

Quit boosting on the stock fuel system. You're going to blow your motor. In the very least, get an fmu.

yeah your crazy....stock injectors can barley handle 4psi i hear
