i just installed a kenwood touch screen int my car and ever since then my headlight timer would not work also the ingnition wire for the stereo system stopped working after installing the after market touch screen. i have to manually turn it on and off every time i drive my vehicle. also after taking out and reinstalling the stock bose stereo a few times, the stock stereo and air conditiong module stopped working aswell. sound quality has decreased in the bose stock speakers, but i think that has to do with the peak watts not as good as stock stereo. also while trying to jump start my car battery, the left HID bulb dimmed to purple and then went out. i disconnected the right HID bulb and started to use fog lights instead. Eventually the left fog light went out ( go figure) and while trying to reconnect the right HID bulb, i found out that it no longer works anymore. the interior dome lighting as also been replaced by multiple LED lights, but after jump starting the car, they no longer work either. All fuses have been checked and no signs of broken fuses.

sounds like your installer may have cut into a harness he shouldn't have...but you have a lot of modifications that could be interacting with each other.

The radio, environmental controls, steering wheel controls, ECU, etc. are all somewhat tied together. I agree with Joe that you are having some form of connectivity issues with the wiring. If you did the install yourself I would go over the wiring diagrams in the FSM with a fine toothed comb to see what may be connected impropterly
