I need help winning a tuner battle

alright I live in Jacksonville Fl and for a while i was looking for 91-94 240sx and my friend(also he is one of my managers at work and gets paid way more then i do) would make fun and always ask "why do want a piece of **** like that?"...I just told him to shut the **** up...after a little while of seaching a found and bought a 93 240sx that had a few things wrong with it...like.....the oil pan leaks(it was the gasket)the dimmer switch doent work so the cluster lights wouldnt come on(they come on now but i still need the switch)and the muffler is a little messed upand a few small things that arise here and there...but anyways after i got it he still kept talking ****...then his car got stolen and wreaked so then with the insurence money he bought an eclipse...a few days later her suggested that we have a race to see who can build there car up faster and well long story short he's kicking my ***. Mainly because he finds people to get him **** for free or extremely cheap and recently his birthday past and he got sum ****...while i was still in the process of fixing my car...well were im getting at with this story is if anyone around my area has a 240sx like mine and wants to help me out or hook me up with sum stuff that would be greatly appreciated OR if sumone can sell, find, or get me a good deal on stuff that would be great too....so far i got...cold air intakeheaders(that have not yet been installed but i plan on tweaking it a bit)

dude gut it out. lsd of your choce, cat back, tune that mug, cams. what's your budget. your only gonna go as fast as your budget will let you. . you can up grade alot usen' junk yard part for cheap.read, read and read till you know what you could do with your budget. take him to the track and walk all over him

or just ignore your boss, cuz hes a dumbass for goading you like that in the first place. Chances are hes gonna wreck his **** or its gonna get stolen again...rushing to modify your car will also cause mistakes...and then you'll end up paying for those mistakes when u try to race.

it would probably be the last **** talking on 240's he does, I have seen some fuct up looking cars that were real fast, some like speed,others like style,some love corners, some blend all of it in, its about you and what you want.... boost it and make hime stfu or tell him to stfu, you could get his job for his actions, he is the bos,well go to your general manager or regional manager, if that doesnt work, start slashing his tires when you leave

i have to agree ,its an eclipse ,i really think you should take your time building your car don't rush things .Because when you rush things problems start happening .Boys i think we need a road trip or just get some of the other 240s in your area to show up after work to go cruising or road racing ,see if he wants to play ..... i hate people who think cause they have money there better than everyone else the 240 haters

Which model eclipse did he get? The older first or second gen GSX? If so good luck ever winning that battle. They are cheap to mod, have a stock turbo, AWD, etc. But they suck in the reliability department.
