what you'll need

1. stfu2. search3. j/k, but you really should search

well first off you'll need a turbo hehe. next, a manifold and some oil lines.

that's a good start. then there's stuff like:

tuned ecu or safcinjectorsdownpipeintercooler + piping

start there. search more. kthx

your budget would be a good indication of what we can recommend you getting. also, maybe what you'd be doing with the car? (daily-drive, autox, road race, drift, etc.)

as for safc, i didn't think it mattered which one you got. both safc1 & 2 should do the job. then there's the hacked maf route you can readup on HERE

as for low to mid 200hp, perhaps a t25 or small-medium sized t3? some sr injectors, something to control those injectors like safc or tuned ecu, 3" dp & exhaust, simple log manifold, bov of some sort, fmic (not sure if an smic could achieve your goals. someone else care to chime in on this?).

Would the SR20DET turbo be fine (t25),would the manifold match or will it have a different ratio

you could use a t25 off an sr, just make sure it's in good condition. it's been done before. as for the sr manifold, no. it does not line up with the ka. best bet is to get the ssautochrome one off ebay that's bottom-mount, flanged for t25/28's or jgs' weld-it-yourself log manifold.

guys used to use SSA manifolds for the SR and simply cut off the SR exhaust flange and weld on a KA flange. So I think the spacing btw exhaust ports is the same, they just use different flanges. Now SSA makes KA manifolds, Ive heard some bad things about their quality. The JGS log manifold is an option if you want something more DIY.

I would suggest looking at larger turbos (like Z31 T3 or SR T28), but I'm sure the T25 can get you to your goals.

Also I heard about someone turboing thier KA with a Mitsu turbo of from a Eclipse, the turbo lookslike its the same as the SR20DET stock T25, Is anyone can take a look at this one, and figure out if it could work on my KA http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...hanx for your -Ricky
