I need help telling if M is lakeshore blue or blue slate

I am traveling about 150 miles to look at an M45x. I cannot tell from photos if it is blue slate or lakeshore slate. Can I determine the color from the VIN? If not, can the color code be found on the car?

paint color code should be on the door jamb of the driver door.

Lakeshore is b30
blue slate is k52

Mine is k52 it's a color changing blue slate metallic pearl! Check mine out, sometimes grey sometimes blue.... The lakeshore is clearly LIGHT blue....maybe that can help!
