i have a 92 240sx and is make a clunking noise under it and when decelating in neutral it bounces like the driveshaft is unbalanced.any thoughts on what is going on?

hard to tell without us looking, but there are two half-circle parts that basically holds your driveshaft "in place" and connect to your car. i think its called the center mount. if you just bought the car, it might've not had it :gotme , but if you had this car for a while, it couldve fallen off. jack your car up and make sure you have both pieces, top and bottom part. and if you do, make sure its bolted down nice and tight. Im guessing this is what it could be, without actually hearing or being there to check it out. at least i can help you checking somewhere. while youre at it, make sure all your nuts for your shaft are on tight. :chuckle:

Drive shaft bolts on the differential are loose. Jack the car up and check b4 you have a hole in your floor board. Take advice from the above post could be the two halves on the center mount. Put some lock washers on too. ;)
