You looking for a stretch at all? I know some guys that run 275/45s on 10x5 wheels that give a mild stretch, but 265s or smaller will give a pretty big stretch. I'd play it safe with the 275/45s (less chance of rubbing too). Maybe 255s or 245s would work on the 8.5s.

What do you think of 225/45/18 front
nd 245/45/18 rear?

225 is mild stretch on 9.
245 is mild on 10.5.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

So can someone define what they mean by "stretch"?

By stretch they literally mean stretch. The rim is thicker than the tire so it looks like this

Very common thing going on.

It will look good. Little to no stretch in the front with a little in the back. I'd go for it.

There's stretching for the look and then there's stretching for clearance. I'd only do a mild stretch unless you have very low offsets or very wide wheels. If you want that "cool" look that a lot of the hella flush people are going for then a 195/35/18 on 9 and a 225/35/18 on 10.5 will give you a big stretch. It looks cool but its not my style and I think it looks a little ghetto. I only like a little stretch. Plus on more extreme stretches and depending on where you live, in the winter you may have to worry about the bead coming undone.

Heres 9 on 195 but on a 17.

And 225 on 10.5 on

I plan on running 235 on 10.5 if I ever get new wheels which is in between extreme and mild.
