When I installed my kenwood aftermarket head unit I cut all of the plugs off and just wired the head unit straight to the factory wires. But now when I listen to music once i turn the car off the time restarts on the head unit and the dash clock starts over plus the equalizer(like bass settings go back to 0) just as the clock does on the head unit. I cut all of the wires. I used install doctor and everything is great except for everything restarting. Is there some type of connection that I forgot to make. I made the 12V Constant and the 12V Battery. What sould I do because it is really annoying. Thanks.

Sounds like you have constant 12v and switch 12v backwards. Triple check your wiring and check it with a meter or test light if possible. It is not out of the question to have wiring in the Kenwood harness in the wrong locations...... I have seen it happen before brand new out of the box.
