i need help

I just replaced the battery in my car but every time i start it i get the battery light and another light on my dash that says LIGHT and its highlighted by red i dont know what the problem is and id like to find out but i have no idea where to start. could anyone give me any ideas on what could be wrong?

Your altenator might be going out. Get a batter/altenator tester (just a plain voltmeter could work too), hook it up to your battery, and it should read above 12V. Then go start the car and there should not be a big voltage drop, if there is, then your altenator is bad.

Go to any parts store to have it tested. They should do it for you for free.

As for the "light" warning lamp, that should be for one of your brake light bulbs being burnt out.
