I need help

I am doing a 5 lug conversion on a 95 240sx. I am work on the rear and I am having problems. The car is stripped for a full make over so even the diff and axles are out. I have removed the brakes and the 4 bolts on the back of the actually hub. Now I have heard people say that it just comes right off and over say you have to tap it a bit. Well I have tried both, I have beat the hell out of it. Well since both side are doing it (on the rear) I figured I would ask to make sure I wasn't missing something before I go in the garage with some c4. I mean its a little rusty but man....

i wonder why it didnt come off. well my S13's rear hubs were a little stubborn at first, but if you tap around the hub while its spinning (meaning ur hitting every single area of the hub evenly), then it should come out. uve done everything you could. im assuming the bearing is out as well right?

I thought the bearing was part of the actually hub, I thought it all came as one unit. My replacements are all one unit.

well because it normally gets stuck on the bearing face, and when i tapped my hubs out its because all the road grim was sticking it to the spindle. just tap it harder i suppose.

did u lube it with nut buster or WD prior to whacking away at it? remember...big hammer, dead blows.
