I need help!!

I have a 89 240sx with anti skid and shift lock rear end(VLSD factory) I just dropped in a SR20DE, I need to know if there is a wire needed to attach on a 12v or power sapply cause my antil skid and shift lock rear is not working just one side is spinning on the passenger side tire not both at the sametime I really need some help on this issue!@ Thanks

the vlsd isnt electronic in anyway shape or form. its controlled really by the fluid inside of it.

yep as stated above it is a sealed unit no electronics, the special fluid inside it canot be changed and is seperate from the diff oil in the case. Most likely you diff is not working anymore over time or heavy abuse the fluid inside the diff can be destroyed be exess heat.

hows about i change the fluid do you think it might work! And how many qaurtes of fluid will i use!

There are two types of fluid in the rear end. One is the normal gear oil that you can change. The other is for the sealed viscous unit. You cannot change it without tearing the whole rear end apart

What is anti skid &shift lock its on the fuse box in the engine bay??

anyone know what it is shiftlock and anti skid???

shiftlock probably has to do with something in automatics.... to be able to shift into gears without pressing the brake. thats all i can think of. not sure about anti skid
