cant understand all of what you are saying but i will attempt to decrypt your message and lend some starting points...
bulb out: both bulbs or just one? if both, replace. if just one, inspect the harness the bulb sits in. could be corroded, loose wiring.
any other lamps out? could be as fuse. if fuse is good and socket the lamps go in are clean, could be a break somewhere in the wiring . hard to tell about those things.
manual, there should be a manual/auto switch back there no? I am going by memory but i thought there was a manual/auto switch.
if no switch, could be faulty motor/defective. do you hear the motor run ? if not, motor could be disconnected from the harness, loose wiring, etc. check fuses.
