I have a 92 nissan 240sx and was hit in the front. I just wonder where I can get a radiator core support for the car? Is this a bolt on project? How much is the part? I am thinking of getting the whole radiator core support. Thanks [IMG][/IMG]

Pics or fail. How can anyone poss. help you with that minimal info and no pics. At least tell us how bad the damage is. Is it the whole rad support, or just the top or bottom. Did you bend the frame. A lot more info is needed. And, unless you know how to weld, or fabricate. Done even attempt.

you'll have to host on another site and then bring it back here and use the [img] tags.

You can order the upper and lower supports brand new from Nissan or you can find one in a salvage yard. However, you will need to drill out the old spot welds and weld in the new one.

Look here for some good visuals on welding in the new support. I forget where in the thread he does it, but you should look at the whole thread anyways because it is super awesome

I am in california. My car is a daily driver. I have someone who would pull it for me for $300. Should I go that route or is pucrchasing the whole core support make more sense? My core support damage looks like this guys car.

I would put the picture up in photo bucket now but I left my travel drive. I grab the wrong travel drive on the way out.

Here is a another pic what my car looks like.

If you can get it pulled for $300, then what is the issue here. If pulling it out will fix it, then why ask any further questions. Go get it pulled out and buy the body parts to fix the panels.
