There is special glue for the glass, much like the rear view mirror glue kits you get. Its made to take direct sunight a lot more and the hot temps in the car. Hell if you get a rear view mirror kit from an autozone or even walgreens that should be a lot better....
As for the seals I took a little gasket sealer and put it on the existing weather stripping and made sure my doors were closing as tight as possible by adjusting the lock "loop" on the car itself (not the door mechanism) that the door attaches to. The black gasket sealer sticks nice, but I would advise fine grain sandpaper to help, just a little. Also I would make sure you locate 100% the source of the leak, sometimes where the leak drips is not where it enters, just accumulates and the weight makes it drop. I found that out too. Otherwise, you could get new stripping, buying used stripping is a bad idea, lotta work for something that is gonna be tossed again probably soon.
