i need help i have idling problems with my sr20det swap

hi, i have a 90 hatchback with a sr swap this is my first time on forums. its burning rich and wont idle for anything plz help

first check the ecu for codes. are yo running an upgraded fuel pressure regulator? change your temp sensor. and also start the car and adjust the idol control valve. i also had the same problems. fuel pressure was to high. the temp sensor was bad and my iac was off. let me know how it goes.

I wanna go out on a limb and say its the MAFS...

I had the same symptoms, running rich, idle kept jumping around on neutral... turned out my MAFS needed a good clean.

The backfires were kinda fun... the sucky mileage wasn't.

I was going to say the same, but the ecu code-pulling would cover it hopefully. Also, replacing the O2 sensor is a good idea for any new swap if you haven't already done that.
