I need help getting the sr to start!!

I have got all of the basic stuff hooked up to make it run, it tries, but wont start. I dont have the intercooler piping installed, would that cause it to not start? I've got the wiring by the battery hooked up, the fuel pump is working, and the coil packs are firing, and the timing is set. Let me know some other stuff to keep it from running and I'll let you know if I have already done it.

nope, it won't run unless the IC piping is hooked up. it sees that as an IMMENSE boost leak

You don't have your IC piping hooked up and you expect it to start? Come on man. Go buy some of that thick dryer tubing if you have to to run it for a little while.

Ok, I got the piping from the turbo to the throttle body run, does the maf sensor need to connected to the turbo? BTW, does the KA maf sensor work on this swap, or would I need one from a 300zx TT? I have a single turbo 300zx if that one would work.

uhhhh... I think the SOHC MAFS will work, any others and you have to have an SAFC to compensate for the added flow...

Man, what are you doing piecing an SR20 together from old spare parts?

An SOHC KA AFM will work, but you need the plug off the KA wiring harness for it.

yeah, the SOHC maf will work but needs a rewire. you cant use that 300zx without an ECU retune.

you could be more specific too.... anyway, i couldn't wait to see if my sr would start, so i started without the intercooler piping sealed(missing a coupling or two) and it runs for a few seconds before stalling...
