watsup guys, ok so i have the money together to start buying my sound system but im not exactly sure about the whole setup and as of now i only have an idea. Well anyway as of now this is what i plan to buy but if you guys think its wrong or could recommend anything, that would be great.

a pair of alpine type e 10" subwoofershttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...47326

a pair of infinity speakershttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...47326

and then i need an amp which i dont know what makes an amp a good one so any reccomendations thanks

P.S i also remember reading that if im plugging a sound system into a stock stereo then i might need something extra? i have an base altima coupe btw

so first if it was me i wouldnt get the e type. and i wouldnt get it from best buy because it is expensive. sub choice basically depends on your money and how much bass you want..i recommend the alpine r its a lot more powerful than the e.(i have 2 alpine r's in my car)then the amp choice depends on your sub(s) and again your money haha..if you wanted to do the alpine e's you should be able to power 2 of them with just an alpine 500watt amp..but i dont exactly remember the power rating of the alpine e.if you get the r's, and you get 2 of them, then get the alpine pdx1000 or just the alpine m1000(pdx is more expensive)you can also go with other brands theres a wide selection out there(personally i like alpine along with a few other companies) but for the most part you get what you pay for

oh yeah and i forgot..if you want to connect it to the stock system then you can just get a hi to low converter which is a relatively cheap part(about $25 at best buy or whereever)

I'm not an Alpine guy, there's other folks here that could help you out more on that! But regarding speakers... I no longer recommend Infinity speakers... the new Kappas sound like absolute garbage... and the lower lone references are prettyt bright and harsh.

Diamond audio makes some really good components... D3= good, D6= better, Diamond Hex S600 = best!!!!

Broadfield on here sugests going with hybrid audio. To the general public, its not very well known... but to folks on the award wiinning SQ circuit... its VERY HIGHLY REGARDED... some say their top of the line stuff is better than anything else out there! Find Broadfield on here and he can get you a good deal!
